I arrived in Arusha with nothing but grit and a dream. For years, I carried packs up Kilimanjaro’s slopes, learning its secrets—the way the clouds cling to Mawenzi at dawn, the crunch of volcanic scree underfoot, the fire in a climber’s eyes at 19,341 feet. With every summit, I saw more than glaciers—I saw possibility.
